You've gotten through all of the branding modules and are ready to start working the marketing ones. Just want to give a final note on everything we've gone over to ensure you are on the right steps for your brand. There is a lot of information circulating, especially in our industry, about the uses of social media, and unfortunately, most of it is misinformation. Prior to taking the information anyone gives you and investing time and money into it, be sure that the person you are getting advice from is giving you facts, and not opinions. There are a lot of opinion posts on how social media should be handled, but further evaluation proves no social media success from the individual/s suggesting what they are. Which means you are being led down the wrong path.

I want to express this strongly, because it always upsets me the amount of wrong information being shared and how many agents eat it up, only to get angry and state that social media doesn't work. It DOES work, it's the biggest resource for business, today. It is even bigger than cold calling, and can get you more business than cold calling ever could if you just know how to utilize it properly. I hope you took the time to get through the modules slowly, and after reading each branding module, went to your brand/social media accounts and made the adjustments and changes taught to you. Because if you jump into the marketing modules without the right social brand, your marketing efforts won't get very far. It's not just about how much money you can spend, it's about building a brand that connects with your audience and you're ensured that the gap of relationship building is bridged. Make sure your brand is social media ready, then you'll have more success with marketing it.

Here are the top 4 things I want you consistently utilizing for your business:

1. Facebook (Business Page & Group)

2. Instagram

3. Website for Blogging

4. One other social source (Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.)

If you find yourself not able to dedicate a lot of time to all resources, your Facebook and blogging website need to be priority number 1. If you get around to hiring an assistant, prioritize Instagram first, then another social media source.

Social media is NOT a get rich quick source. No such thing exists. Yet the mindset that this is the case is prevalent. You won't spend one day throwing up a Facebook page and spending $20 on an ad and expect to have an unlimited pouring in of business. It takes days, weeks, months, and years to cultivate social media in a way that it helps you grow. And it takes money. I'll show you multiple ways to get business without money, but if you don't invest money, you'll be investing a lot more time. You just have to decide what you have more of to invest right now. Now I know we need business NOW, and a lot of the marketing methods will get you business quickly, but if you want to build a business that in time brings you a large amount of business organically, you need to make sure you're set up from the beginning to succeed.

Invest a day to go through everything and make sure it's set up properly. Don't leave loop holes where potential buyers and sellers can follow through into the lap of other agents. There are hundreds of thousands of agents on social media, yet so few are working it properly and consistently. So take advantage of it now while you have the chance. Get out of the rut of outdated marketing tactics, transition into modern day marketing, and help get our industry out of such a negative/harassing light most consumers see us in. This is no longer the 90's where you harass the life out of people to use your services. This is the age of the millennial industry transitioning into buyers and sellers, and outdated sales tactics will not sustain you.

Review the branding modules over and over until you are completely set up, then jump into marketing and start building a successful real estate business. I'll see you on the other side!
